Any Suggestion For Vocal Card Swelling That Looks Like Paralyzed?

I am 38 years old. I am suffering by voice chok up problem and pains from throat upto chest and back side also . I met ENT his opinion is vocal card swelling and it like paralised. He has priscribed RABEMAC-DSR, AZITHRAL ETC. pl guide something on it.

Hi.
The commonest causes of vocal cord swelling are:
Inflammation due to viral infection, overuse.
Cancer if it is on one vocal cord.
Tuberculosis or fungal infection.
- There is no condition that can cause so much swelling that the vocal cords look paralyzed; hence you should take an appointment with the ENT Surgeon for Endoscopy to see the exact position of the problems.
- X-ray chest
- Tests of blood and urine.
Once a diagnosis has been made the treatment will become easier and towards more success.

The other problem that you have talked about is the pain from the throat up to chest and the back too.
This can be due to inflammation of the respiratory tract or may be a muscle problems as you have to strain a lot.
Get appropriate anti-inflammatory medicines, mucolytic and symptomatic and supportive as per the symptoms and sings that you have.
Continue the medicines that you have been prescribed.
IF there is no tuberculosis, you may need oral steroids for most potent anti-inflammatory action.
