Any Suggestion For Spreading And Itchy Acne?

I have been getting really bad acne lately but it doesn't seem like it is just regular acne it is very itchy and when I itch it the acne seems to just keep spreading then it starts to scar and the scars last for weeks at a time. I have talked to dermatologist and they have given me multiple creams that do not work. I haven't really been able to find anything that will help them. Any suggestions?

Hi,

It may not be acne. It may be prurigo simplex. There may be some cause. It may be some allergen or irritants like dust,housedust mites,pollutants, cosmetics, wool, soap,fume,deoderant,insects,mosquitoes,grass,some drugs or food like milk,eggs,seafood,nuts ..etc. You consult dermatologist again and have firm diagnosis and treatment. He might prescribe oral steroid ps in tappering dose,antibiotics and antihistaminics along with steroid cream. You may be alright. I hope you got my answer.
