Any Suggestion For Fever, Chills, Shakes, Headache, Shaky And Fast Heart Beat?

I am 56 years old and am not on any medications. Ten days ago I had some flu like symptoms such as fever, chills, shakes, headache no vomiting but felt shaky inside which made me feel like I wanted to throw up. I went to my doctor who put me on a drug called azithromycin which before I started taking these I told her my heart had been speeding up. She gave them to me anyway. I have taken four but have now quit because I feel awful. What should I do? Please don't tell me to go back to that doctor that prescribed this medicine because this is not the first time she has misdiagnosed my health. I trusted her and now I feel worse.

First of all it is necessary to find the cause of fever
Usually such symptoms are indicative of viral self limiting illness.where you need Tab.paracetamol 500 mg stat and upto 4 tablets for high fever over 101 degree f.
Second possibility is that of some bacterial infection and if it I'd respiratory then you may be given azithro but if you are not tolerating then you may be given cefixime 200 mg twice a day for 7 days.
Instead I request you to get your blood tested for complete blood count,smear for malaria if common in your region and urine for routine and microscopy.after getting your reports you may go to your doctor for further guidance.
