Any Ideas About Sharp Pain On The Right Side Both Under The Ribs And Back With Inability To Do Sit Ups?
I have a sharp pain on my right side under my ribs and it is also on my back on the right side. Started on friday felt like I was sitting wrong like a pinch. Pain did not go away, seems like it got more tender. Went to the gym on monday (today) couldn't even do one sit up when I usually do 25 every time I go. I figure if It got worse I would go to the hospital. I'm not shure If something is wrong.
The symptoms can be attributed to Musculo-skeletal pain. However, an Electrocardiogram can be done to rule out any Cardiovascular etiology.
Symptomatic relief can be obtained with anti inflammatory preparations like Ibuprofen along with Pantoprazole preparations, ice application & application of analgesic+muscle relaxant gel. Physiotherapy exercises will also be helpful. If symptoms still persist, kindly consult your General Physician for proper clinical examination. Investigation like X ray of chest & Ultrasound scan of abdomen will be helpful in detecting any pathological cause for the symptoms.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
