Any Help To Interpret Sonology Result?

Good morning! Can you please help me understand and interpret this sonology result? 'Normal sized kidneys with signs of bilateral parenchymal disease and pelvicaliectasia. Renal cortical cyst, right.'
And is there a possibility for an alterntive treatment?

Thank you so much.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

The right kidney cyst may not be significant if not larger than 3 cm in diameter. There is however features of early kidney failure and possible calyceal ballooning. This means you need to consult a nephrologist and get kidney function tests and any additional testing done. It is important to know if you have diabetes or hypertension.
