Ankles And Feet Swelling. Staring Menopause. On Citalopram. Remedy?

My ankles and feet have been swelling quite a bit. What may be the cause? I'm 52 years old woman and am now starting menopause. I don't eat too much salt and I drink plenty of fluids throughout the day. I do drink a glass of red wine every evening. I don't smoke or do any drugs. I am currently on a medication called citalopram, 20 mg to help through a difficult time in my life. I plan to discontinue with the help of my doctor once the situations in my life have cleared up. Thank you.

Hello,
Citalopram in nothing to do with swelling over ankle and feet.
Usually this type of swelling occurs over dependent parts due to,
Hypo -proteinaemia,

U T I (mild ).
Consult a physician and get in blood as well urine examination complete.
