Angioedema Episode With Whole Top Lip Being Huge With No Throat Issues So Far?

my husband is having an angioedema episode. his whole top lip is HUGE so far no throat issues. he took a little more than the normal dose of liquid Benadryl. we do have an epipen and have never had to use one. We hate the thought of going to the emergency room and have the just give him more Benadryl.

thanks for your question,
the features what you are telling doesnot give the causative factor, if you have developed angioedema after taking some medicine or some food items you have to stop using that articular item...you can take a course of anti histamines like cetrizine....if you develop any respiratory problem or difficulty in swallowing immediately consult a physician...
i hope my answer wil help you...wish you speedy recovery..
