Anal Swelling, Blood While Passing Stool. Is The Swelling Due To Stretching?

Hi. I bleed when i pass stools but the swelling and bleeding always went away in minutes. I went to a doctor yesterday and he stretched the anal area to check for internal piles. Turns out i do. Internal and external. 3hrs after that i to go to the bathroom. The piles didnt retract like it normally did earlier n the swelling hasnt gone. Is the swelling now due to the doctor stretching the area allot?

Hi,

It may be not due to stretching. In case of thrombosed or advanced stage of hemorrhods are non retractable. Do use cold compress , wipe only with baby wipes.

Use pain killer medication and eat high fibre diet. If symptoms not improved please consult your surgeon he will examine the area and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
