Am Anemic, Eating Iron Rich Foods, Drinking Protein Shake. Is My BP Normal?

Hi: I m 40 years old and was told that I m anemic. I take vitimins and try to eat iron rich foods and I eat a protein/vitamin shake once a day. My energy level normally bottoms out in the afternoon but sometimes around 11:00 the morning. I took my blood pressure this morning when I was feeling tire and it was 107 over 68 with a pulse of 78. Is that normal?

Hi

Thanks for asking.

Your blood pressure and the pulse is absolutely normal, lot of people have a blood pressure close to 100 and they work just fine.

Anemia is no way related to the relatively low systolic and diastlic blood pressure in your case.

Please do not worry about it.

Thanks.
