Allergy, Gastritis. Taken Metronidazol And Doxy-cycl. Side Effects?

Hi thank you ! I took Metronidazol 500mg and doxy-cycl buck 100 mg for an infection after a week it caused me an allergy , my body is itching all over,I took Benadryl and it caused me a strong gastritis .The next day I took some for the itching,my husband insisted me to take back the antibiotics and I did and it was worse I had a strong stomach ache and still it bothers so much

Welcome to HCM.
If have itching all over body than you have to stop all current medicines and consult you doctor for this because it could be due to any drug reaction.
You have to take all this drugs with milk or with some light food to avoid gastritis.
Take rebeprazole or pentoprazole with domperidone to subside gastritis.
Benadry is not enough for allergic reaction.You have to take levocetrizine and even short course of steroid.Local application of calamine lotion all over body will be helpful.
Keep in touch with your treating doctor.
