Please advise after how much time, should food be taken after have taken the medicine. I take the medicine immediately after waking up in the morning & was giving a gap of 1/2 hr to 45 mins before eating my breakfast. Is that fine? Also i think my periods are delayed which is bothering me cause I m planning to get pregnant. I am 35 & it is high time on planning on the pregnancy however I seriously hope that this medication will not adversely affect in my planning....Please advice
It is usually advised to take Thyronorm in empty stomach, with a full glass of water and wait for 30 to 60 minutes before eating anything. So, you are taking it correctly.
Regarding the problem of delay in periods, it is attributed to the Thyroid disorder. Once the hormonal values reach the normal range, your periods will regularize & you can plan your pregnancy accordingly. Kindly discuss regarding this with your Gynecologist.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
