Hello,
Thank you for using health care magic

You do not need to avoid non vegetarian food after dog bite. It is safe to eat non vegetarian and there is no diet restriction.

Here are a few reminders after dog bite
- Dog should be observed for at least 10 days .If the dog becomes aggressive, dull or develop paralysis it should be put down(euthanised).
- clean the dog bite wound
- get vaccinated (one dose right away along with rabies immunoglobulin and additional doses at 3rd,7th,14th day)
-if redness/ pain increases in the wound area ,immediately consult your doctor as this can indicate infection.

Once you take proper care of wound and get vaccinated, you will be perfectly fine .There is no need to worry.

Hope I could help you
Please feel free to address any more concerns
