I have a pain in the front part of my left leg starting at the bottom of my knee. It hurts if I push on this area. Inhale a bakers cyst in the back of this knee but this doesn t hurt. I can t seem to bend my leg and it kills to walk down stairs and the pain is now pulsing at that spot
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pulsating pain just below the knee . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like sciatica , bursitis , chondromalacia patella , deep vein thrombosis , fibromyalgia , herniated disk , torn meniscus , muscle cramp or peripheral neuropathy . Gentle massage with flax seed oil will also be helpful. Consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI , physical examination or nerve conduction test . Doctor may prescribe orthodox MR , methotrexate , anti inflammatory or recommend physical therapy along with stretching exercises . I would suggest you to apply warm compresses to thigh and knee , take proper rest and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Also apply warm compresses on back several times a days .
