Acute Upper Respiratory Infection, Diagnosed As Due To Cold, Prescribed Orofur. Have Tobacco Addiction. Is It Due To Tobacco?

Hello Sirs, I am diagonised with a acute upper respiratory infection( I have a small lump untraceable beneath the ear and the corner of the neck and jaw ) . I was chewing tobacco for lost three weeks. I have a doubt whether this could be due to tobacco chewing . kindly help me. The doctor diagonised it as due to cold , and gave some orofur. Kindly guide me.

it is most likely to be due to acute infection. it is nothing but lymphnode enlargement.
it will reduced within week. if it continue for long time then related examination and investigation is must.
and, avoid tobacco, it is dangerous to ..... you khow that
have a better health

There may be a small ulceration in the mucosa of the effected area which developed secondary infection leading to your symptoms. If it does not improve with your current medication the you should consult a Oral Surgeon/ Dental surgeon for further management.
