it is possible it could be
IBS, but however, a few things must be carefully considered before coming to this conclusion.
It might be interesting to note that, IBS is only thought of when all other organic diseases have been excluded. In this particular case, I would suggest a proper clinical and endoscopic review, with pH measurements of mannometry, to be sure that
acid reflux has been properly taken care of. This is so important because, it might not be useful to start treating IBS, meanwhile the acid reflux has not been well treated, and especially in this case, could explain the symptoms experienced.
A chest
X ray to exclude lung disease and an abdominal
ultrasound could also be helpful.
