Send in the scan pictures to drkumaresh@drkumaresh.com. Recently operated a similar lady. Numb tongue and numb head and ear means it could be a fungus or severe infection.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic
You could be having Cavernous sinus thrombosis which is a region of collection of big blood vessels where blood has become thick and formed clots putting pressure on the nerves and hence the problems you are experiencing. This could be due to infection mostly near the ears or nose area. You could be having severe ear infection which can cause this problem. IV antibiotics may be needed for 3-4 weeks. Drink plenty of water and the symptoms may be reduced. Follow up with your Doctor. Get your blood sugar tested to rule out Diabetes.

General & Family Physician Dr. Jitender Chauhan's  Response
hello, welcome to HCM. You should have provided the details of CT report. It is difficult to say without knowing the real condition. You could be having cavernous sinus thombosis. Because of its complex neurovascular anatomic relationship, cavernous sinus thrombosis is the most important of any intracranial septic thrombosis.[1] Cavernous sinus thrombosis is usually a late complication of an infection of the central face or paranasal sinuses. Other causes include bacteremia, trauma, and infections of the ear or maxillary teeth. But anything could be said definitely only after knowing more about your report. Wish you good health.
