7 Year Old, Cold, Dark Circles Under Eyes, Black Eye. Normal?
My 7 year old son either had allergies or a cold this past week. He normally does have darkish circles under his eyes but the past couple of days they were darker with bags. This morning his left eye looked darker late morning & then all of a sudden at soccer he had a black eye! Just under his left eye & he swears it didn't get hit. Is this normal?

It seems he has got upper respiratory tract infection which may be the cause for his eye infection as there are naso-lacrimal ducts which are the pathways for the infection to spread.The dark circles under the eyes may indicate upper respiratory allergy with stress.
