Pediatrician 's  Response
hi ! a normal infant gains 30 gm / day during first 3 months of life & 15 grams/ day during the next 3 months. keeping that in mind your child is doing pretty well. normally all the kids are a bit cranky at this age as the teething process starts & a lot of parents come to us with the same complaint. if the weight gain is appropriate we just assure them that it is a passing phase. keep offering him a variety of food items as he may get bored of a monotonous diet plan. take care & don't worry.
