4 Year Kid, Pain In Penis, Creamy Yellowish Puss Oozing, Swollen. What Could Be This?

Hi my 4 year old son started to complain of pain in his penis yesterday, it looked a little swollen at the base and was painful to touch, no pain on urination. This evening he has complained of the same pain, only worse he was crying in agony and was reluctant to let me look, I did manage to take a quick look and there is creamy yellowish puss oozing from the end, it appears more swollen than yesterday but still no pain on urination. What could this be? Thank you

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi dear

Welcome to the platform of health care magic.

As you have described the situation, it appears to be that the child has developed some boil/fruncle at the base of his penis.

Best diagnosis can be made exactly by local examination of the swelling.

Cleaning and dressing along with some relevant antibiotic and antinflammatory analgesic will releive him from this problem.

Hope your query is answered.

Thanks
