3 Year Kid, Having Headache And Vomiting. Have Dent In Upper Thigh. Are These Connected? Neurological Issue?

My 3 yr old has a dent in his upper right thigh thay recently came out of no where. He has also had headaches associated with vomiting and has been in the hospital. I am waiting to see a specialist but so far nobody seems to no what's wrong. Do u think his leg issue could be connected to his headaches. Possibly a neurological issue?

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

A child with headache and vomiting should be definitely examined by your doctor.

It could be because of various causes. One of the important cause could be migraine. Does he have any fever?

What is his blood pressure like?

Pediatrician Dr. E Venkata Ramana's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

The dent may not be related to the headache or his neurological status.

The neurological problems will present with weakness or decreased movements or loss of sensation in the limbs.

But definitely his headache and vomitings require neurological evaluation including physical examination by Neurophysician, investigations such as CT scan brain, and vision testing.

I advise you to discuss the concerns with the treating pediatrician.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
