2 Year Kid, Vomiting In The Mornings. Treatment?

Hi Doctor, My child who is 2 years old and have been vomiting over the last two mornings and by the afternoon she seems okay and holding her fluid intake. She is refusing solids but still drinking milk and water. Her temperatue is about 37 degrees and it seems she is not suffering from a fever. I was considering to administer her a dose of Enterogermina but wasn't sure how much to give her.

Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Enterogermina is not used to stop the vomitings.

It contains probiotic and is used in diarrhea.

But the cause of vomitings has to be evaluated by physical examination of the child.

Monitoring and maintaining hydration of the child is important.

Give sips of oral rehydration solutions like Pedialyte to maintain the hydration of the child.

You can give an anti emetic like ondansetron in prescribed dose.

Consult the doctor for physical examination, evaluation, and for management.
