2 weeks ago, i did not equalized well during my dive. After surfacing, all are well. I did not feel any uncomfortable issues. But during that night when I'am about sleep, i noticed that there was clear fluid discharged in my left ear. The next morning, i went to my ENT to have it checked and found out that there is a mild perforation in my left ear. The ENT prescribed antibiotics both oral and drops. After few days of medication i feel better and i went back to my ENT for follow up check up and told me that the perforation is now healing and it is getting better. I asked him if i can go back to dive, and he gave me a go signal because my left ear is already healing and i will just use an earplug to prevent water from getting inside. Now i want to get another advise or opinion from other ENT specialist. Now my question is it really ok if i go back in diving even the perforation is on the healing stage? And how many days usually the perforation will completely healed if it is only small perforation? because i searched it and all are saying that it will fully healed within 2 months and now it still 2 weeks passed since my left ear perforated.
