2 Months Old Baby Is Having Lose Motion Infant, Please Suggest
Sir, my sister's baby is 2 months old she is having condition of lose motion since last two days. no fever at all. sleeps well. having lactogen1, no mother feed.

first of all make sure the child is not dehydrated. this will be indicated by infrequent urination, dark urine, dry skin and tongue. try changing over from lactogen to some other product like nan. get the stool tested for any infection. however, in most cases it is due to a viral infection which subsides in 4-5 days. give the child some probiotics containing spores of bacteria which are good for the gut.

Hi welcome to health care magic forum- kindly allow your baby for exclusive breast feeding, babies must be given only mother milk til 6 months of age, this wil prevent diarrhoea in ur baby because babies til 6 months of age are more prone for infections from foods given from outside, after that they mus be started on weaning foods like smashed rice smashed vegetables, smashed banana etc thank u, take care
