15 Year Old With Dizziness And Nose Bleed. Why?

starting yesterday, i started to experience severe dizziness if i changed my head position when lying down. I also had a nose bleed last night and two more this morning with the same dizziness problem as i woke up. The most recent nose bleed lasted much longer than the others and i lost a lot more blood . I am almost 15.

Hi,

Nose bleed could be because of various causes.

Nose picking could be one important cause particularly in children.

Hypertension should be ruled out.

Your dizziness could be caused by bening positional paroxysmal vertigo among various other causes which can present with such problems.

A detailed physical examination will help in arriving at a diagnosis.

Hope this helps.
Take care.
