11 Month Baby, Fell From Bed, Fluid Filled Lump On Head, Getting Bigger. Normal Scan. Anything To Worry?
Hey.. My 11 month old fell off the bed and now has a soft fluid filled lump on the top of his head and it looks like it's moving or getting bigger. I took him to ER and they did a CT scan and said everything was good and that it was just a little blood and fluid that's swollen and that it should go down on its on. But should I be worried???

There is no reason for further concern, its a hematoma which will liquify and get resolved. If the baby is eating well, sleeping well and has no abnormal movements then there's no cause of further concern. I'm a Pediatric Surgeon and routinely see around 10 such cases per week. Just keep the baby warm.
