Brief Answer:
it could be piles or hemorrhoids/ or anal fissure.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for posting your query. I have read it, and understand your health concerns.

I understand there is blood loss when you poop. It is very likely that you may be suffering from piles or hemorrhoids/ or anal fissure.

Does it hurt when you poop? Do you feel the area surrounding the anus is painful when you empty your bowel? Are there any visible cuts or tears in the anal lining? Do let me know because if so, it is very likely to be anal fissure that is causing the blood loss.

Piles are also painful.

Anal fissure and piles could be treated to a certain extent with medications. Some cases would need surgical intervention, not all.

As you said, when you take 3 meals a day and regularly, the blood reduces. So, I would suggest you change your dietary routine. Consume 3 meals a day, large quantities of water and fluids like fresh fruit juices. Please consume food rich in fibre and roughage like bananas (all fruits), fresh vegetables like cabbage and broccoli, and yoghurt.

Avoid spicy, fried, oily foods that are difficult to digest such as uncooked or partly cooked meat, sausages, etc. Better to consume a soft and bland diet for some time until you recover from this bleeding.

Awaiting your response.

Regards,
Dr Shanthi E
