Brief Answer:
Not a typical symptom of stroke.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask a Doctor' service.

I have read your query and here is my advice.

Intense pain in a part of the leg is not a typical symptom of stroke.

Stroke, in most of the cases, may cause neurological deficits ( weakness of extremities, vision and speech issues, cognitive impairment, etc.).

Symptoms that you describe may be linked more to conditions such as nerve compression, problems with muscles or tendons, blockage of the peripheral arteries, etc.

Getting evaluated by your Doctor should give more information about the diagnosis.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
