Question: something happened when i was in the hospital in may with septic shock. luckily im still alive but it felt like my whole bottem fell out when i was taking a shower. ever since then i do not have a formed bowel movement. just little slivers will come out. i thought maybe it was all the antibiotics coming out but now i wonder. please help me and tell me what i should do.

Thanks for the query.
Long term use of antibiotics can cause antibiotics associated colitis and result in similar symptoms as in your case. Antibiotic associated colitis can cause malabsorption and bowel disturbances.
As a first line management you can take drugs like vizylac ( lactobacillus supplements) for symptomatic relief. Include more fibre rich foods to your diet also.
If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated. In that case we have to go for a colonoscopy also.
