Question: sir is it safe to go under colon cleansing hydrotherapy? as I'm facing gas Acidity constipation is these therapy will be helpful for me.

I don't advise Colon cleansing hydrotherapy

Hi
I do not advise Colon cleaning hydrotherapyfor the following reasons:
1.The quality of the preparation cannot be assessed.It may cause severe electrolyte imbalance leading to serious complications.
2.The bowel will become dependant on Enemas.
3.As per Medical literature,there is no clear benefit from these cleaning therapy.
I would like to have some more information
1.What is your exact indication for this therapy?
2.Is there any pain in the upper Abdomen?
3.Is there any bloating even after intake of small feed?
4.Are you passing hard stool?Do you pass stool daily?
5.Do you have Vomiting?
If there is Acidity, Bloating sensation I prescribe Tablet containing Rabeprazole along with Levosulpiride to my patients.As Levosulpiride is a prokinetic agent,it will help in constipation too.
Avoid spicy food, carbonated drinks.
Have high fiber diet.Eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
Drink plenty of liquids.
Nothing to worry.

Thanks for your Reply, usually I faced bloating indigestion burping and gas ,therefore I though guidelines from net where many experts advise to go under deep colon cleansing therapy but I get the answere from you and thankful for the same.

Hi
The symptoms that you have mentioned now are due to problems ranging from.the Stomach ,Small intestine and Colon.
So, simply cleaning the colon will not be sufficient.
Rabeprazole along with Levosulpiride will help.Recently,there are good results with combination of Simethicone 80mg and Activated charcoal 250mg tablet for Bloating,flatulence and dyspepsia.
