Brief Answer:
Laparoscopic surgery would be the ideal treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi....
Welcome to "Ask a Doctor" Service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX

I have gone through your query? report and here is my opinion.

As we all know that the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) is a muscular ring between esophagus and stomach.
In achalasia, XXXXXXX fails to open up during swallowing, which leads to pooling of food within the esophagus.
As this is an anatomic abnormality, the ideal management would be a surgical correction.

Best treatment of your problem would be a POEMS procedure(Per oral Endoscopic Myotomy),which is a better and advance technique or balloon dilatation, which has been used since decades.
Usually surgery is recommended if a dilation procedure doesn’t work.

Medications are not very helpful.
Some patients are being prescribed drotaverin in the dose of 40 mg thrice daily. XXXXXXX dose is 80 mg/dose.

Hope that I have answered your query.
Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards.
