Question: my wife to oxycodine over 8 hrs ago. she took gabapentin just now. will she be ok?

I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.

Both Oxycodon and Gabapentin have a CNS depressant effect.
Using them together,may cause that an augmented central nervous system depression leading to serious side effects including respiratory distress and coma.

Oxycodon has a half life of approximately 3 to 4 hrs (Extended release formulations have up to 5 to 6 hrs) and as she has taken Oxycodon 8 hrs back,it is unlikely that there would be any interaction or side effects.

If at all,she develops any symptoms,talk to your Clinician or visit him.
