Brief Answer:
Spondylosis of the spine to be considered.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.

I have read your query.

It's possible that your issues are caused by a pinched nerve (herniated disc disease, spondylosis, etc.).

So, since your doctor suspects that the problem is located at your lower spine, you should have imaging studies of your spine done in order to achieve a correct diagnosis.

Dynamic X-rays and MRI of your lumbosacral spine are necessary for this purpose.

Treatment depends upon the diagnosis.

Acupuncture may relieve some of the symptoms.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
