Brief Answer:
Needs further checkup at hospital

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.

I have reviewed your query. There could be a number of causes for a lump in testicle. Most common includes cyst, extra testis, ectopic testis. I would suggest you to once visit hospital and get an appointment for a "Urologist". He will examine your son's testicle & may advise ultrasound scrotum to confirm the location of both testis & the appearance of lump. Further management would be decided after the examination & test results.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Wishing him good health !!
