Brief Answer:
Please provide the details

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Welcome to healthcare magic platform

Please provide the details like age, duration of symptoms, associated complaints like cough, fever etc and similar positive family history if any...so that I better able to help you out.
I won't get overly worried if only running nose or sneezing is there. In most of the babies these symptoms improve with antiallergic like cetrizine.
If there is fever or associated cough this can be flu but in present scenario Covid should be kept in mind.
Please feel free to share or discuss any health related issues.

Waiting for your response
Regards

Brief Answer:
No need to worry, watch for danger signs

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for follow up

Sneezing and occasional coughing is normal in this age. Also there can be noisy breathing because of nasal blockage. Baby of this age breath only by nose and if nose gets blocked there can be breathing difficulty /noisy breathing.
Keep the baby warm. If you are using air conditioner keep the temperature around 27-29 degree. Wrap the whole body very well and check the temperature by touching both abdomen and sole of feet at same time. Temperature of both, sole and abdomen should be same and both should be warm. If you find sole colder this means baby is in cold stress and needs more warming.
Put nasal saline drop(Naso clear) 3-4 times in both the nostrils. It's normal saline drop to keep the nose moist and there is no side effect.
I hope the symptoms will improve with nasal saline drop only. Sneezing is common in this age and its a reflex even in response of very minute foreign body in nose.
I won't get worried if baby is feeding well, passing urine, there is no breathing difficulty or retraction of chest.
If you notice any of these symptoms please consult with your pediatrician.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more doubts.
Thanks and Regards

Brief Answer:
Give metoclopramide, paracetamol and lansoprazole

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I am sorry for the inconvenience

I can understand your concern.
First I would like to know the severity(measured temp by thermometer) and frequency of fever, vomiting.
If fever is of high grade(more than 101 F) with frequent vomiting I would suggest you to consult a pediatrician for proper evaluation and investigations to rule out sepsis.
I won't get overly worried if fever is mild, vomiting is mild/not too frequent and baby is other wise active, passing urine and feeding well.
In such condition you can give paracetamol drop 15 mg/kg ( 9 drops of crocin or calpol drop) at an interval of 6-8 hours. Give metoclopramide (domstal drop) 4 drops two to three times a day for vomiting and lansoprazole (Junior lanzol 15 mg dispersible tablet) 1/5 tablet once a day.
Monitor temperature, urinary frequency and observe closely for general activities. Give frequent feeds to avoid dehydration.
If baby is not feeding well, lethargic, fever is of high grade and persists even with medication, vomiting is persistent; please consult your pediatrician.
Wishing for early recovery and good health of your baby.

Brief Answer:
Hiccups are normal for this age

Detailed Answer:
Hi

No need to worry as hiccups are normal in this age. Hiccups usually occur after feed. Even small amount of regurgitation of milk after feed is also normal.
Vomiting is considered significant if it is large in amount.
Feeding in upright posture (Head end up), burping after each feed ; decreases the frequency and amount of regurgitation.
Mild fever can be environmental (due to high environmental temperature) or due to over clothing.

I hope this helps.
I shall be glad to help further if you need any.
