Brief Answer:
Limberg Flap is better in Pilonidal sinus

Detailed Answer:
Hi
As per Literature,Limberg Flap has many advantages over Simple closure,Open wound with regular cleaning and dressing etc.Duration of hospital stay is less, recurrence rate is also low.
But,in the presence of infection,Open wound with regular cleaning and dressing is better. If there is any infection,it can be dealt easily. If the defect is closed with a flap, management of possible infection will not be easy.
If there is no infection now, you can try Limberg Flap.If infection is present,I prefer open wound with regular cleaning and dressing.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions,I will clarify further.
Wish you good health and speedy recovery
