I Have Been Having Kidney Stone Issues But Also Issues
Question: i have been having kidney stone issues but also issues with my bowels at the same time. i constantly feel pressure in my lower abdomen and lots of gurgling and more thsn usual pooping, though its not diahrea... its just often skinny stool. i had a CT scan of the abdomen and the only thing they saw besides the stones was apendicoliths in my appendix and soft tissue stranding in my celiac axis. they said it was incidental.
can kidney stones cause digestive issues as well or should i go to a dr. and would a CT scan miss anything serious that could be wrong?
i have also been under more stress then i ever have before but the stressful time has mostly passed... but i feel awful now.

Is the ct scan recent? Ct scan is very good imaging and has a 90% accuracy to detect kidney stones. If your ct scan didn't show any stone then you don't have the stone for sure.
You may be suffering from irritable bowel disease and you may need to see a gastroenterologist to help you with your symptoms.
Symptoms that you listed points to bowel disease and not because of a stone in the kidneys.
It is also been known that stress from work or anything may aggravate irritable bowel syndrome.
