Question: i have been diagnosed with achalasia type 2.. doctor prescribed medicine - tab gutfast and tab eslo 2.5 but not feeling well. now ,suffer from chest pain. respected sir/madam, due to recent situation [lock down] i'm not able to visit doctor. so, sir /madam please give some medicine for the chest pain and congestion. waiting for ur response...

hello,
ideally you the treatment f your problen would be surgery laparoscopic surgery, POEMS procedure or balloon dilatation.
medications are less likely to help. You can try tablet paracetamol or drotaverin.
nitrites can help but should be taken only after checking blood pressure
su I would suggest to take drotaverin on an as required basis and see if if helps
if not can take paracetamol
if the pain still persists you need to visit your doctor and ge a prescription for nitrites or stronger analgesis

Not permanent but high rate of cure

Detailed Answer:
both treatments can be used. we dint have long term data ( more than 20 years ) about POEMS. but at 2 yeares the symptom relief with pOEMS is better than with balloon dilatation. both are an option. you should discuss these options in person witn your gastroenterologist before coming to a decision
the cure is permant in 90 percent of cases and recurrence michr occur in about 10 percent
