Brief Answer:
Lipid level

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking

In my opinion your lipid profile its not at the point to get starts the statines ,but the doctor gave you that due too your heart disease history.

If you cant support them i will suggest you to get healthy lifestyle and repeat the exams after 1 month,if the level of your lipids gets higher than i believe that you should start the statins

my question was can i trust this doctor,i told him that my body cannot support statines and i know that in the school along time ago they learn me that the heart is a muscle and he say it is not,and you know certainly that statines are very very bad for muscles, lever and.....and also is it necessary to begin again a stenting with 50 pourcent narrowed and my question was for a cardiologist with all respect for you naturally.Thank you

Brief Answer:
Lipids levels

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I can understand your concern...

Yes, the prescribing doctor must have taken this decision after examining you thoroughly...So please trust your doctor.

Of course that the heart is a muscle and a very strong one. The statins have side effects as any other medication, but it's the benefits which rule out the adverse effects in the long term.

If you still seek the Cardiologist's opinion only, please feel free to ask your query by selecting the 'Ask A Specialist' or by mentioning it at the beginning of your query.

Regards
