Question: hi..I get cramps and pain at my hip joints and shoulders when I lie down for sleep in the night. Because of this I am unable to sleep in the night in spite of feeling sleepy through out night. massaging at hipjoints and shoulders give some relief. also pain goes away if I do not lie down ie., if I stand or sit straight. MRI reports of Hip and Shoulders does not show abnormalities. EMG Test of nerve is also normal. Problem persists since last few months. I am a young lady of 49 years with two grown up chlidren.

Hi
As per your description,it looks like Neuropathic pain.
It can be due to Diabetes.
Renerve plus is sufficient for Neuropathic pain.
Ropark is for Restless leg syndrome.
Your Blood sugar levels
should be normal.
Next possibility is MUSCULOSKELETAL CAUSE.I try Tablet containing Thiocolchicoside(skeletal muscle relaxant) 8mg twice daily to my patients with similar complaints.Response is good in few.
Nothing to worry.
It will come down.
