Brief Answer:
Not a serious concern

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

There is no need to get scared. In most cases, a part of the nail entering your nose would have been expelled out through the nostril. It would not have entered till the posterior part of the nose and nasopharynx.

Also you have mentioned about doing a sinus rinse and that will clear the nail if it was not expelled out by itself.

A small foreign body like a part of human nail will not have any serious consequences should it enter the nose.

Even thinking of the worse case scenario, if the nail reaches as far as the posterior part of the nose, it will then slip in to the oral cavity and come out through the mouth. However this is unlikely to happen in most people.
