Hi. Ive Been Under Extreme Stress And Pressure The Past

Question: hi. ive been under extreme stress and pressure the past few months. every time it seems to be passing i feel horrible physically afterwards. very anxious, always painfully hungry to the point of nausea and dizzy. it also becomes hard to be around loud noises and busy places. it overwhelms me. and its always worse in the mornings/afternoon.

is it normal to feel so badly after stress? and can anxiety/stress cause excessive hunger? ill be ok when i wake up but it doesnt take much once i get out of bed for symptoms to start. Especislly the hunger... and it doesnt feel like normal hunger... its like instant nauseous/woozy hunger even when im not hungry. And even after i eat ill feel a bit better but still will feel all the symptoms as if i never ate.

ive never had blood sugar issues though my dad had diabetes.

and it always feels better when im moving and worse whentrying to rest.

Brief Answer:
This is not a thing to get stressed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for using ask a doctor service

Yes its normal to feel so badly after stress. This is totally normal. Anxiety can cause physical symptoms too. A lot of individuals develop symptoms like weird abdominal symptoms, chocking sensation in throat, increased sweating, trembling, butterfly sensation in stomach etc. Yes anxiety can result in increased hunger or rather I'd say that increased food intake. This occurs because of increased excitation and intake of food results in relaxation which in turn become repetitive when anxiety occurs.

Thanks. This is totally normal and remain relaxed.

Brief Answer:
Excessive heat can worsen anxiety

Detailed Answer:
Hello again

Yes excessive temperature and closed areas can make anxiety worse. But if you are going out and the temperature is high but is tolerable then I don't think heat will make much worsening. Keep yourself hydrated and you will remain anxiety free.

Thanks
