Question: hi, i have the birth control implant in ny arm and i have unportected sex twice and both times they came inside me. should i he worried about getting pregnant?

Usually, birth control hormonal implant has 99% efficacy i.e. it is effective in 99% of cases.

No contraceptive measures give 100percent protection yet.

So as per your history, in case of a delayed period, I would suggest you do a urine pregnancy test after 7 days.

It should be confirmed by beta-HCG level and obstetrics ultrasound SOS after a Gynecologist consultation.

So It would be better to use condoms/any other contraceptive which gives extra protection.
