Question: hi, I have taken deviry 10mg tablet as directed by a gynae.. I started the tablet from 14th april to 18th april( 5days). today i found there was a little blood stains but am not sure whether i have got my periods or not... can you pls confirm how does this tablet works...? I shd start taking femilon tablets from 1st day of my periods as told by the doctor...but am not sure whether i have got my periods as thr was jus blood stains in the afternoon today and after that i did not see any bleeding...

Hello

Deviry is a progestin. When taken for few days and then withdrawn, it causes withdrawal bleeding in almost one week. Such withdrawal bleeds tend to be heavy flow, sometimes there maybe just spotting. You may check for pregnancy, if you donot get proper bleeding.
