Brief Answer:
As detailed

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
I have already mentioned above that I have gone through your history, reports and photo.
Since you are on steroids I would advise you the following:
Steroids should be stopped as soon as possible and if not possible as in many a cases get the following things done.
Get the blood sugar done periodically along with HbA1c.
Vitamin A and D estimations and correction of these if there is a deficiency as therapeutic dose; otherwise as daily requirement doses.
Take calcium also.
Antioxidants in the form of multivitamins, mineral, trace elements and Lycopene help a lot in such conditions.
The skin changes on face are akin to low grade fungal infection and Ketoconazole cream will help you although it takes time.
All the symptoms that you have suggested are like allergic reaction and akin to angioneurotic edema. All tests may not come positive in every case hence it is always a clinical diagnosis that is most important.

I hope this answer helps you further.
Feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.

if i get i steriods i will be in the er weekly again, thqts why i ask how bad is 5mg per day for a few months? i had this rash for months before i started steroids, this rash came with all my symptoms. could it be systemic candida? I explained that for month si have been in 5 different allergy meds also an allergy shot. nothing is working i am seeing and immunologist and nothing is working still. i don't want to mask my symptoms i need it treated, do you suspect any rheumatology related autoimmune problems?

Brief Answer:
As detailed

Detailed Answer:
I can understand your concerns.
I have already answered the problems; one can have on long term steroids like diabetes, bone brittleness and how to tackle it. Get the blood tests as mentioned earlier.
3 weeks of steroids in tapering doses and have a gap before the next course is preferable.
Any medicine is given balancing between its effectiveness and possible complications.
5 mg of prednisone daily for months can have problems.
There is a possibility of autoimmune disease and needs further evaluation although I hope your Specialist must have taken all things in consideration.
One can have a second opinion.

I hope this clears your doubts.
