Brief Answer:
Need some information...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I would like to know if most of the acne eruptions on the back have pus pointing?
Do you have any other known medical conditions including diabetes?

Dettol soaps or any other harsh soaps may not be of significant help. I would instead suggest milder soaps like dermadew or sebamed.

We can continue the discussion further after your answers to the above questions?

Brief Answer:
Antibiotic prophylaxis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Since these are predominantly pustular acne eruptions, you may benefit by antibiotic prophylaxis - doxycycline taken every day. You can discuss this treatment with a dermatologist.

Until you can visit a dermatologist, you can try Clindac A 1% gel over the affected spots.

As I mentioned in my earlier reply, use milder soap instead of harsh soaps. Maintain personal hygiene.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Brief Answer:
Red skin change suggests inflammation.

Detailed Answer:
Red skin change suggest presence of inflammation. They still could be a pustular acne in their early stages. So I'll still recommend you try Clindac A gel on the large acne eruptions and see if it helps.

If there are many large eruptions it is better treated with oral antibiotic as suggested earlier.

Hope I am clear.
