Brief Answer:
Better to avoid - or get treated for your symptoms first.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your short and specific query.
One can take DAyquil night before colonoscopy.
But the questions are:
Why do you need to take this medicine night before any procedure/colonoscopy? What are your symptoms?

Is the colonoscopy going to be done under general anaesthesia or sedation? The two components of this medicines - Phenylephrine and Dextromethorphan has its side effects on heart and brain hence better avoided before surgery/any procedures and anaesthesia.

If you have more symptoms related to congestion, coughing or so, colonoscopy may be postponed for your safety. The symptoms be first treated well for your optimal fitness.

I hope these details answers your query and help in decision making.
