Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services.
I have read your query and here is my advise.

* As per my clinical experience, the pain in area below left rib, that turns out
to be upper abdomen particularly after food intake suggest gastric upset
via some sort of bug causing gastritis likely.

My guidelines at present

- prefer to consume more liquids at intervals including boiled water, lemon
juice, butter milk
- bland, vegan diet with avoidance of spices, non veg, junk items, dairy fat
- chew your food thoroughly

- keep stomach empty by 25 % of satiety value
- consume small, frequent meals
- avoid sleeping till 2 hours after lunch or dinner

- do regular walking
- deep breathing exercises, meditations, YOGA
- avoid weight lifting if involved

- intake of proton pump inhibitor as omeprazole ( 20 mg ) with sips of water
on empty stomach twice a day ;
tablet dicyclomine with paracetamol after meals twice a day
