Brief Answer:
About high cortisol level;

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
Cortisol level can be increased in pathologies of afrenal or pituitary glands, as well as in obese people, stressful situations ect.
To differentiate it, decametasone supression test is suggested.
If cortisol level is over 50 after dexametason supression, it means that there is a payhology of afrenal or pituitary glands causing it.
Hope the imformation will help.
Best wishes,
Dr.Mirjeta
