Will Tramadol And Norco For Chronic Pain Show Up In Urine Drug Test?
Question: My dr took me off norco 10-325 about 2 months ago. I am currently on morphine, 2 100mg & 1 60mg per day. I recently took a few tramadol 50mg that I got from a friend & my dr gave me a urine drug test about a week & a half later. Will the tramadol show up on the drug test? Also, since the norco & tramadol are both opiates, could I get by with telling him that I found a few norcos in a drawer I was cleaning out & I was hurting so I took them?

I believe that you did not take time to really read my question. I did not take both the norco & tramadol together or even close together. As I said, I have been off the norco for 2 months. What I really want to know is, could the tramadol show up on the drug test as if it were norco or would my doctor know for sure it was tramadol?
I understand that my decision to take the tramadol wasn't the right one but I am a 59 year old grown woman & I was in horrible pain at the time. I don't believe you have the right to judge me when you don't even know me or my circumstance. Please just answer my question...Could tramadol show up on a urine drug screen as if it were norco or would my doctor know for sure it was tramadol that I took? I am paying you to just provide me with the answer & not a lecture.

Even if detected, it is possible that it can show up as norco. To know for sure that it is Tramadol, specific test for estimating Tramadol in the urine needs to be done.
