Brief Answer:
The sooner, the better.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Since there is a history of two months of gradual deterioration of your condition, there is no need to rush to the ER today, but Neurologist's evaluation and, in my opinion, brain imaging such as MRI (to evaluate stroke, brain atrophy, vascular malformations, etc.) should be carried out as soon as possible.

Six weeks is too long in my opinion.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.
